Maroochy Pony Club Showjumping Charity Day

Friday, August 14, 2015

On the 1st of August 2015 IAH attended the Maroochy Pony Club Show Jumping Charity Day which attracted 140 riders from 45 schools in Queensland all for the wonderful cause of fund raising for the Sunshine Coast Children's Therapy Centre in Nambour.

Our sales manager, Walter Vecchiet received this letter of appreciation from the event coordinator following the event and it is too nice not to share.

Dear Sponsor,

Our sincere thanks for your generous support of our Matthew Flinders and Maroochy Pony Club Show Jumping event at Nambour Show Grounds Saturday 1st August 2015.

We had a wonderful day with 140 riders from 45 schools in Queensland, mostly from the Sunshine Coast, and we also had a positive day raising needed funds for the Sunshine Coast Children's Therapy Centre at Nambour.

It is only with your support that we can present such a prestigious Inter-school Pony Club event in Queensland, which is getting bigger each year, and notably is the largest event of it's kind in this state.

Your generous contribution unquestionably creates great excitement among the young riders, and assures us of high numbers on the day.

This year we were again able to have three jumping rings to cater for the larger number of entrants.
Channel 7 also attended and filmed, so we hope to have their TV coverage tonight on the local 6:00pm news.

Attached are some photos taken on the day, which we hope will give you some idea of the enjoyment shared by our up and coming riders of the future.

We utilised FaceBook for Sponsor Logos, as well as printed on our Program and Draw. We particularly thanked all sponsors over the PA system during the day. We hope this proves of value to you.

Again, on behalf of Matthew Flinders Anglican College and Maroochy Pony Club, thank you so much. We hope that you will consider supporting us again next year to celebrate our 12th year of this great event to help our local children with disabilities.

With best regards,

Doug Stuckey
